Archicnephasia is a genus of moths belonging to the subfamily Tortricinae of the family Tortricidae.[1] It contains only one species, Archicnephasia hartigi, which is found in Italy.[2]

The wingspan is 23–24 millimetres (0.91–0.94 in). The ground colour of the forewings is dirty cream, suffused with brownish and with a diffuse brown pattern. The hindwings are whitish-brown, weakly darkening on the peripheries. Adults are on wing in late autumn.[3]

Etymology

The species is named for Friedrich Reichsgraf von Hartig.[4]
