Type locality: "Canchayoc (13 °07´ 16.2 S, 72° 19´ 53.0 W, 3663 m a.s.l.), near Abra de Málaga, Distrito de Huayopata, Provincia de la Convención, Departamento Cusco, Peru".

Holotype: MHNCP 6018.
