The Purus Jacamar (Galbalcyrhynchus purusianus) or Chestnut Jacamar is a species of bird in the Galbulidae family.

It is found in Bolivia, Brazil, and Peru. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical swamps and heavily degraded former forest.
