The dusky sergeant (Abudefduf concolor), or night sergeant is a damselfish endemic to the eastern Pacific Ocean.
Geographic distribution

Abudefduf concolor is found in the Eastern Pacific, from El Salvador to Peru, including the Galapagos, Cocos and Malpelo Islands.[1]
Ecology

This species is found in shallow Marine reef (primarily rocky inshore reefs exposed to wave action) habitats up to five meters in depth.[1]
