Cladus: Eukaryota Reganella depressa is the only species of the monotypic genus Reganella, a genus of the family Loricariidae of catfish (order Siluriformes).[1] R.depressa is a poorly known species and uncommon in collections. Its phylogenetic position remains uncertain.[1] This species is distributed in the middle Amazon River basin, including the Negro, Tapajos, and Branco Rivers.[1][2] R. depressa probably inhabits sandy substrates with flowing waters.[1] R. depressa reaches a length of about 11 centimetres (4 in) SL.[2] References 1. ^ a b c d Covain, Raphael; Fisch-Muller, Sonia (2007).
