111 Ate

111 Ate is a large, dark, and carbonaceous main belt asteroid. It was discovered by C. H. F. Peters on August 14, 1870 and named after Ate, a personification of destruction in Greek mythology. Two stellar occultations by Ate were observed in 2000, only two months apart.
