Ramphotrigon is a genus of tyrant flycatchers in the family Tyrannidae.

Established in 1872 by George Robert Gray, it contains four species:[1]

Image Common Name Scientific name Distribution
Ramphotrigon megacephalum - Large-headed Flatbill.jpg Large-headed flatbill Ramphotrigon megacephalum Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, and Venezuela.
Flammulated Flycatcher (Papamoscas Jaspeado).jpg Flammulated flycatcher Ramphotrigon flammulatum south and southwest Mexico

Ramphotrigon fuscicauda - Dusky-tailed Flatbill; Ramal do Noca, Rio Branco, Acre, Brazil.jpg Dusky-tailed flatbill Ramphotrigon fuscicauda Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru.

The name Ramphotrigon is a combination of the Greek words rhamphos, meaning "bill" and trigonōn, meaning "triangle".[2]
