Note: The two new species identified by Ngok Banak & Breteler in 2004, Oddoniodendron gambanum and Oddoniodendron reitsmarum have yet to be resolved by all other authorities. In addition, Oddoniodendron gilletii is often circumscribed as a synonym of Oddoniodendron micranthum.

Vernacular names

Oddoniodendron is a genus of flowering plants in the family Fabaceae. It includes six species of trees native to west-central tropical Africa, including Cameroon, Gabon, Republic of the Congo, Cabinda, and Democratic Republic of the Congo. They grow in lowland tropical rain forest.[1] It belongs to the subfamily Detarioideae.
