Note: Petiveriaceae is recognised here as including its members in Phytolaccaceae renders that family non-monophyletic Stevens (2017) and APG (2016) c.f Hernández-Ledesma et al. (2015). Also see this reference and Meissner (1836-1843) for why Petiveriaceae C.Agardh (1824) has preference over Rivinaceae C.Agardh (1824).
