ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces

ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces is a peer-reviewed scientific journal, published since 2009 by the American Chemical Society.[1]

The current Editor-in-Chief is Professor Kirk S. Schanze.[2]

ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces will focus on the following areas of research: advanced active and passive electronic/optical materials, coatings, colloids, biomaterials and bio-interfaces, polymer materials, hybrid and composite materials; and friction and wear.

ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces is a new publication for the interdisciplinary community of chemists, engineers, physicists and biologists focusing on how newly-discovered materials and interfacial processes can be developed and used for specific applications.
