Note: Placed in Augusteae by the close relationship with Wendlandia as found by the analyses of Xie et al. (2014), but segregation maintained due to its unique floral morphology.

Guihaiothamnus is a monotypic genus of flowering plants in the family Rubiaceae. The genus contains only one species, viz. Guihaiothamnus acaulis, which is only found in Rongshui County in southern China.[1]
