Holotype: IRSNB 2687, adult ♀, collected by P.J.R. Kok on 11 May 2011.

Type locality: “on the summit of Angasima-tepui (Bolívar state, Venezuela, 5°02.5833N, 62°04.8667W, ca. 2200 m elevation”.
