Padbruggea is a genus of flowering plants in the family Fabaceae.[1]

Its native range stretches from southern China to western Malesia. It is found in Borneo, China, Java, Laos, Malaya, Myanmar, Sumatera, Thailand and Vietnam.[1]

The genus name of Padbruggea is in honour of Robbert Padtbrugge (1638–1703), a Dutch doctor in the service of the Dutch East India Company.
