The Rusty-cheeked Scimitar-babbler (Pomatorhinus erythrogenys) is a species of bird in the Timaliidae family.

It is found in Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Taiwan, and Thailand. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
