The Shortridge's Free-tailed Bat (Chaerephon shortridgei) is a species of bat in the Molossidae family. It is usually found in Botswana, Democratic Republic of the Congo, South Africa, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. Its natural habitats are dry savanna and moist savanna. It is threatened by habitat loss.
