The Greater Congo Shrew (Congosorex polli) is a species of mammal in the Soricidae family. It is endemic of Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Habitat

Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests of Congo. It is currently losing habitat to deforestation.
Diet

The Greater Congo Shrew eats a wide variety of fruits and a few number of insects including ants.
Reproduction

The Greater Congo Shrew is in the classis of mammal meaning it gives birth to live young. It can give birth to around 4-5 young.
